How ZepiQ makes money
ZepiQ is free for shoppers — no subscription, no markup, no hidden fees. This page explains exactly how we earn, because a price-comparison service is only useful if you can trust its rankings.
Affiliate commission
When you click through to a retailer and buy something, that retailer may pay us a small commission. It comes out of the retailer's marketing budget — never added to the price you pay. This is our main source of revenue and it's the standard model for comparison services. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Why commission never changes our rankings
- Our default ranking is price, cheapest first — computed from the retailers' own data feeds.
- We work with many retailers at once, so we earn whichever one you choose — there is no financial reason for us to favour any single retailer.
- Some retailers on ZepiQ pay us nothing at all. We list them anyway when they have the product, because an incomplete comparison is a useless one.
Sponsored placements
We may offer clearly-labelled promotional slots (for example, a "Featured" section on the homepage). Anything paid-for is always marked as such and is never mixed into organic search results or price rankings.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy.
- We don't inflate or alter retailer prices — every price links straight to its source.
- We don't accept payment to remove or hide a retailer's cheaper price.
